LGBTQ+, Gender, and Brainspotting THERAPIST IN Sioux Falls, SD
READY TO FEEL SECURE AND CONFIDENT IN YOUR OWN SKIN?
Brea Grueneich (she/her), MS, NCC, LPC-mh, QMHP
You're here because you’re tired of feeling lonely, confused, and overwhelmed.
YOU’VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE.
I’m Brea, and I help gender diverse and LGBTQ+ folks just like you: ones that have it within them to find relief and feel like themselves again (or feel like themselves for the first time) but just need the support to get there.
I help my clients find confidence, happiness, and belonging by equipping them with the tools they need to build thriving relationships with themselves, their bodies, and others.
Many of today’s solutions to the challenges the LGBTQ+ community face are rooted in discrimination or evolved from uneducated opinions/practices. Leading so many to feel isolated, misunderstood, or even unsafe in medical and mental health spaces. I know that your circumstances are unique, so I provide scientifically based and LGBTQ+ safe care tailored to your individual needs.
First, we’ll explore what is making your day to day life so uncomfortable. Whether that be physical and/or social dysphoria, difficulties with your relationships, or everyday anxiety. Then we work on finding ways to build confidence and coping skills that are most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll no longer be stuck in what’s been pulling you down and find happiness and confidence in who you are.
And for those folks not a part of the LGBTQ+ community, you are also welcome! While most of my clients are LGBTQ+, I work with allies, family members, and anyone looking for a calm space to heal and find support.
How I work
At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that everyone deserves a safe space to receive mental health care.
My training in gender affirming care, LGBTQ+ therapy and brainspotting means I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing the relationships with yourself and those around you. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a queer or LBGTQ+ person struggling with loneliness and anxiety, right?
A a queer person myself, I get it and have devoted my career to working with the LGBTQ population. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
HEre’s what I believe about therapy:
You deserve an accepting space to get the care you need.
You deserve a trained, compassionate, and supportive therapist. I provide an accepting space for my clients so they never have to worry about how their relationship with their therapist may change after they share they are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
The best investment you can make is in yourself.
When our mental health is thriving, our self confidence and relationships also thrive.
You are inherently deserving of healthy, loving relationships.
Let’s help you find the acceptance and belonging you are looking for.
Relief from trauma, past hurts, and day to day stress and anxiety is possible.
You deserve a tailored approach to help you find relief from past and current struggles. Life can be full of happiness, light, and connection and we can help you find it.
Get the support that’s right for you.
